Plymouth Marjon Hockey Centre

Plymouth Marjon Hockey club is fortunate to be based at and in partnership with Plymouth Marjon University (Marjon)where it plays all its games and provides its extensive club coaching programme. The partnership has enabled a new hockey centre with 2 sand dressed pitches to be developed, the second pitch a direct partnership with the University which was built in the summer of 2017.

Plymouth Marjon Hockey Centre

The development of the new hockey centre at Marjon will provide an unrivalled facility and partnership in Devon and Cornwall. The new community hockey pitch funded by Marjon, the club and  grants from Sport England and The National Hokcey Foundation will sit side by side with the exisiting pitch.

New Pitch Finished

Desmond Tutu Bar

Since February 2016 the club has been using the Desmond Tutu centre for hosting teams and club events. Accessible via entrance 3 from the main car park overlooking the pitch the Desmond Tutu centre provided a function space with a bar and kitchen enabling the club to provide hospitality to visiting teams, umpires, supporters and members.

Proposed Club House

With our constant aspiration to grow the club has been drawing up plans to build a large club house overlooking the new pitch. The club house would include 4 changing rooms,officials changing, toilets, balcony, shop, office, kitchen, bar and a large function room which can be divided into 3 rooms.
